Men and Women as Colleagues

As generations and social cultures have evolved, the workforce has become more and more diverse. More women are staying in their careers longer and are effectively filling executive and leadership roles. While this process has eliminated gender stereotypes and prejudices, it has created conflict, resentment, and misunderstandings between men and women. These problems can affect morale, productivity, and ultimately the profitability of an organization. This workshop helps create an awareness of the large scale benefits of harmony between men and women as colleagues and how to establish it.

Learning objectives of this workshop include:

• Creating an awareness of the differences and similarities that exist between men and women in the work place
• Conducting an open dialogue and developing skills with colleagues on cross—gender issues
• Developing an action plan to move forward as men and women as colleagues
